Description

Used to deter and protect sensitive areas (shops, train stations, pedestrian areas, and more) from “ram-raid” attacks. Designed to be filled with poured concrete and rebar during the installation process in order to increase its impact resistance.

Technical

Our Anti-Ram Deterrent Bollards come in a variety of sizes and materials to meet specific urban security needs. The total height of these bollards ranges from 1180 mm for the brushed stainless steel model to 1270 mm for the larger versions (ø 160 mm, ø 219 mm, ø 273 mm). For optimal effectiveness, we recommend an above-ground height of 800 mm. The steel gauge is robust, measuring 4 mm, or 2 mm for the brushed stainless steel models.

Material and Finish

To match diverse urban landscapes, these bollards are available in three versions: 1. With steel top 2. With brushed stainless steel top (available for ø 160 mm and ø 219 mm) 3. Entirely brushed stainless steel Our steel bollards are finished in either galvanised steel or zinc primed and can be customised in our range of colours. Additionally, we offer a version in brushed stainless steel for a sleeker, modern look.

Installation and Durability

To enhance their impact resistance, these bollards are designed to be filled with poured concrete and rebar during the installation process. This ensures a sturdier and more resilient barrier against potential attacks. If you are installing these bollards within 5 miles of the coast, we strongly recommend an additional weather treatment for the steel work, such as galvanising, to enhance durability.
