Chelsea seat 2m

The Chelsea 2m is a new heavy duty, modern hardwood seat which is available in three different standard lengths. These hardwood seats are manufactured in our Essex workshops using traditional techniques and all major joints are mortised, tenoned and dowelled.

Standard Chelsea seat lengths are, 1.5m, 2m & 2.5m.

Bespoke lengths can be made upon request as per any of our street furniture and we can also install any of our seats or furniture anywhere in the UK.

The timber remains in its natural form with principal end grain waxed but water & other oil based finishes are available on request.

The Chelsea range of street furniture is made from Iroko (Chlorophora excelsa) that is sourced from West Africa. This is a highly durable hardwood with an attractive grain that will withstand our weather all year round.We are particularly careful to buy our timber from countries belonging to the International Tropical Timber Organisation, all of which have accepted ITTO guidelines for the sustainable production of tropical timber.

By purchasing our products it ensures that the timber resource retains an economic value, thus providing an incentive to replant, manage and protect for the future.
